TQA radio show

TQA started as an idea around 2017, when techno music and events were undergoing seismic shifts in tone, speed, and social-media hype. DJ Zelda, a DJ since the late 1990’s, and her multigenerational band of techno-loving misfits in the Netherlands sought to identify and promote quality techno over the hype. In 2019, Zelda was joined by Santo Techno Toro, a newer DJ and techno lover who is just as selective when it comes to quality techno music. Since then, the duo has worked together on guiding the 3500+ member Amsterdam Techno Lovers Meetup to quality events, hosted a monthly interview and music podcast for PIP Radio in The Hague, and built a TQA home studio from which they will stream quality techno sets every week, curated by themselves and by selected local artists from around the Netherlands and beyond. The show will also feature custom-designed lighting, photography, 3-D art, and other elements provided by talented creatives on the TQA team.
