After leaving a comfortable, six-figure corporate salary in 2024, BALDY decided to go all-in on the DJ goals he had initially set for himself when he was thirteen. Blinded by societal and familial expectations, BALDY had put his dance music production ambitions to the side in his early 20s — only to realize a career in corporate America was not the path he was destined for. BALDY fueled his career in advertising with a serious addiction that eventually led to a commitment to sobriety in May of 2024. During his years of addiction, BALDY purchased up to 215 domain names — the most expensive one being sobrietysociety.com, which is the only one he still owns. Today, BALDY uses that domain name to send music to people around the world. He is an independent music producer and DJ specializing in dance music and adjacent styles. With singles like 'True Religion,' 'Bad Catholic,' '999' — along with various others — he shares personal philosophies, opinions, and stories over groovy bass lines, 909 hi-hats, and four-on-the-floor kicks. He has experience hosting, marketing, and promoting some of the biggest parties at UCLA — and has DJed numerous events independently and for several entertainment agencies around the United States. He has also written marketing materials for some of the most recognized brands in the world, including Amazon, Hulu, Disney, UFC, Claire's, Airbit, Tech N9ne, and beyond.
